How Swaggnon Cards Built a Growing Card Business with Heystack, and No Heystack One
June 29, 2026

Jonathan of Swaggnon Cards got into collecting sports cards about two years ago and decided it would be fun to start a YouTube channel to showcase the journey of ripping packs and going to shows. This is when he had an epiphany.
“I would open product on video and thought, I can actually make this a business if I do it correctly.”
He decided to learn how to sell. Manually imaging, cropping, uploading, titling, listing. The process technically worked, but as he said, efficiency wise, it wasn’t really there.
Jonathan first heard about Heystack at the 2025 National. He then came across a YouTube video from Trike Sports Cards that featured Heystack, so he decided to give it a try. Shortly after getting started he thought to himself:
“Wow, this is going to drive significant efficiency for myself just from the interface
and being able to have everything in one spot.”
Swaggnon images his cards using Heystack’s imaging app in a homemade light box he built himself and even featured on his YouTube channel: youtube.com/watch?v=_xSEsGgjIxM

“I just sit there, click it, click it, change it. I image a lot of cards, usually around a hundred at once. It has taken my efficiency to the next level.”
Swaggnon isn’t just streamlining his pre-listing workflow. He has the fulfillment side locked in as well. He maintains a 100% eBay feedback score across thousands of cards sold by pricing fairly, shipping fast, and keeping shipping costs low. He is building a base of returning customers who buy from him every week.
He also noted that all cards are worth listing to eBay through Heystack.

“I was selling base Prizm cards when Prizm came out in 2025 and those were selling like wildfire.”
He allows buyers to combine shipping, and by having cheap cards in his store, buyers often add them to their carts alongside higher-dollar cards, increasing his average order size while keeping shipping costs low for the buyer.
“I typically try to get the product on release day and when I open it, I put the cards in a big stack and list them that same day because prices are high and buyers are looking to buy.”
“When Cosmic Chrome first came out I thought, I don’t know how Heystack is going to know what card is what because I didn’t fully know myself. I would say 98% of them were matched correctly on release day.”
When asked what he would tell sellers who are on the fence about using Heystack, or who think they need a Heystack One to get started, he said:
“It’s a lot easier than you think. You don’t need the Heystack One or anything fancy. All you have to do is give it a chance. Heystack has been really beneficial to me and it would definitely help other people.”
Jonathan noted that the thing that surprised him most when getting started was how easy it was to connect his eBay store with all of his configurations. The simplicity of the SKU system, which lets him track which cards have sold, and the ability to apply a standardized description to every listing were also aspects that stood out immediately.
“I love the fact that Heystack autocrops my card images. It’s such a game changer because that alone takes forever if you do it manually.”
When asked whether Heystack has helped increase the number of cards he can list in a given
week, he answered simply: “Dramatically.” Since using Heystack, he increased his total sold listings 228% in just the first six months of 2026 compared to all twelve months of 2025.
When asked who he thinks could benefit from Heystack, he put it plainly:
“If you have a couple hundred cards to sell, this is great for you. You do not need a big operation to benefit. Even if you have a small side hustle and you want to be efficient with it, Heystack is great for you.”
Swaggnon has a growing YouTube channel and is just getting started when it comes to his card business. Heystack has been instrumental in allowing him to reclaim his time and sell like the big guys, all while maintaining a full-time job.
